Collecting Stephen King
Over 40 Years of Publications

Hello

Do you have a question about collecting Stephen King rare and sought after books? You can submit your question here on our ever expanding online blog.

He once said "I am the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and fries." Well, that's a boat load of Big Mac and fries, considering  there have been over 40 years of books and items to choose from.

So what inspires you to collect great King works? Who are your heroes in the stories? Who are the villains? We read his books in order to experience the wisdom, the grief, or even the foolishness of those that are destined for greatness or doom. The novels widen our understanding and capture our imagination.

I share your passion for  books and understand the important role they play in your life. Books do matter. They are all around us.

We read in order to enjoy the stories - but we collect in order to preserve those things that we find rare and valuable. We collect to feel a significant connection to the author, especially in works that the author has held in his own hands and signed directly into the book!

After becoming a constant King reader, collecting for me became a good hobby in order find something new and interesting. It was the need to acquire a  unique  item that very few people own.

Consistent with what some our customers have stated over the years, sometimes there is no logical reason to this. You just do it because  it's a great feeling to hold a book that one of your favorites author's has held, and has signed with his own hand! It's a special connection.

In addition, each volume is truly a tangible asset. Of course there are ups and down and it's cyclical, but for the long term, it's a valuable asset that you can pass on to your relatives.

So what makes a book rare? What makes it valuable? Is it a first edition? How do I know the signature is not a fake?  Or do you have a question about a specific edition?

Ask your questions away here!

Best Regards,

Emmanuel Manetakis
